Ingredients

  • 50 g plain chocolate, cut into sticks (optional)
  • 2 large fresh pears, cut in half and peeled
  • 50 g flaked almonds, toasted
  • 50 g unsalted pistachios, halved
  • 1 dash of vanilla syrup or vanilla extract
  • ½ lemon juice
  • Squares of non-stick baking parchment

Preparation

Make porcupines by poking the halved pears with almonds. Insert some pistachio pieces and chocolate sticks. Put each pear half on a square of baking parchment. Add lemon juice and vanilla syrup. Seal the paper at each end with a piece of string to make a boat shape.

Steam for 10 minutes with the starter and the main course.

Place packets on individual serving plate and let your children uncover their porcupine.
