Ingredients

  • 6 large firm peaches
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 150 ml good red wine
  • 80g sugar
  • 250 ml Crème de Cassis (blackcurrant liquor).

Preparation

Peel the skin from the peaches and rub with lemon juice. Place the peaches on the grid of the bowl equipped with the clip-on handle and steam for 15 minutes.

Place in a serving bowl. While the peaches are steaming, in a pan boil the wine with the sugar for 3 minutes. Add the Creme de Cassis. Pour over the peaches.

Leave to cool, then place in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
