Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 150 g smoked bacon bits
  • 2 onion(s), peeled and sliced
  • 300 g kale, washed and roughly chopped
  • 700 ml water
  • 250 g split peas
  • 3 potato(es), peeled and cut into pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

Prepare the ingredients.

Heat the oil in the pan.

Brown the bacon bits and onions. Remove, but leave the fat in the pan. Fry the kale (in several batches, if necessary). Season with salt.

Remove the kale and mix it with the bacon bits and onions. Place the water, peas and the potatoes cut into cubes. Season with salt and pepper.

Pressure cooking time: 23 minutes

Put the contents of the pan through the vegetable mill, then serve with the kale.
