Berry and Apple Crumble | Extra Crisp Lid

  • 3 large apples, quartered and cored
  • 1 banana, quartered
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • Zest and juice 1 orange
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • Vanilla bean ice cream, to serve
  • Crumble
  • 1/2 cup wholemeal flour
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup almond meal
  • 1/3 cup desiccated coconut
  • 100g butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 tsp salt

1. Place all of the dry ingredients into a large bowl and mix together. Using the tips of your fingers rub the butter into dry ingredients to form a crumble. Refrigerate until ready to use.

2. Place the fruit, sugar, zest and juice and cinnamon into the bowl of the Cook4Me Touch. Stir so all fruit is coated in sugar and juice. Lock the lid and cook on low pressure for 2 minutes.

3. Release pressure and sprinkle over crumble. Attached the crisper lid. Select the Grill function and adjust time to 8-10 minutes or until crumble is golden.

4. Serve crumble with ice cream.
