Preparation

#Spring2021

Prepare the marinade: in a bowl, mix the chopped garlic clove, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil and soy sauce. Pour this marinade over the mince and mix well. Place in the fridge.

Cut the cucumber and carrot into thin sticks. Wash the spinach leaves. Fry the cucumber sticks, carrot sticks and spinach leaves separately in your TEFAL frying pan with a little sesame oil. Season with a pinch of garlic powder and pepper. Set aside.

Prepare the sauce: in a bowl, mix the red curry paste, honey, sesame oil and sesame seeds. Add the water.

Cook the rice in salted boiling water.

Brown the mince in the frying pan with a drizzle of sesame oil. Set aside.

Cook the fried eggs.

Put the cooked rice into the centre of two bowls. Place the carrot and cucumber sticks, spinach, beansprouts and cooked mince into the bowls without mixing them. Place the fried egg in the middle.

Garnish with sesame seeds and fresh coriander. Serve with the sauce.

Tip: Make this vegetarian by swapping the beef with diced tofu.
