Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, diced
  • Filling:
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup soft butter, diced
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp 2% milk
  • Frosting:
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp creamy peanut butter

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place crust ingredients in the bowl fitted with the kneading/crushing blade. Mix at speed 10 for 1 minute. Pat into the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and dry. Cool for 30 minutes. Wash the Prep&Cook bowl.

2. Place all filling ingredients in the bowl fitted with the kneading/crushing blade. Launch at speed 7 for 30 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, if necessary. Spread creamy peanut butter mixture onto baked crust. Refrigerate while making the frosting. Wash the Prep&Cook bowl.

3. Place chocolate chips and peanut butter in the bowl fitted with the mixer. Melt chocolate at speed 3 at 140°F for 5-7 minutes or until melted. Spread over creamy peanut butter mixture. Cool the bars for at least 1 hour or until chocolate has hardened.
