Prepare the ingredients.
Beat the butter and sugar together, until light. Gradually beat in the eggs.
Stir in the flour, cocoa and banana
Spoon the sponge mixture into the basins. Cover with foil and secure with string.
Measure 300ml water into the bowl. Place the basins into the steaming basket and lower into the bowl.
