  • 3 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1.5 red onion(s), peeled and sliced
  • 3 garlic clove(s), peeled and chopped
  • 3 tsp of Indian spice mix
  • 1.5 tsp of turmeric
  • 750 g of canned cooked lentils rinsed under water
  • 120 g of crushed, peeled tomatoes (fresh or canned)
  • 150 ml of coconut milk
  • 1.5 lime(s), cut into quarters
  • 3 sprigs of coriander, leaves washed and removed


Prepare the ingredients.

Pour the oil into the pan.

Add the spices and cook for 30 sec. Add the onion and the garlic. Cook for 1 min.

Add the remaining ingredients, except the coriander leaves and the lime.

Cooking time: 3 minutes

Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with lime wedges.
