Prepare the ingredients.
In a separate bowl, soak the bread in milk. Add the beef, season with salt and pepper and knead to obtain a smooth mixture.
Roll into balls and coat with poppy seeds.
Lightly brown the meatballs in oil and set aside. Brown the onions.
Add cubes of sweet potato and season with salt and pepper. Put the meatballs back in the pot and add the stock.

Tips: If you like spices, you can add some to the meatballs or in the stock. If you want a good sauce, reduce the cooking juice in browning mode, then add some cream and even a little butter. Roll the meatballs between the palms of your hands for a while in order to shape them and prevent them from falling apart during cooking. This recipe makes about 3 meatballs of 35 g, per person.
