Prepare the ingredients.
Pour the boiling water into the pan.
Add the chopped oranges. Leave to boil for 10 minutes to blanch them. Drain.
Put the blanched oranges back in the pan. Add all the other ingredients. Stir well to combine.

Remove the cloves and cinnamon. Stir. Allow to cool completely before serving.
