  • 250 g basmati rice, rinsed
  • 660 ml water
  • 1.5 teaspoons green curry paste
  • 105 g mung beans, having soaked for 12 hours
  • 1.5 onion(s), peeled and chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 3 teaspoons pistachio paste
  • 3 tablespoons pistachios, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Prepare the ingredients.

Place all the ingredients except for the pistachios in the pan and mix thoroughly to spread out the curry paste and the pistachio paste.

Pressure cooking time: 7 minutes

Serve decorated with pistachios.

Tips: You can make this recipe with yellow curry paste or red curry paste. If time permits, you can brown the onions in a little oil, and even caramelize them by adding a touch of sugar.
