1. Peel the carrot, leek and onion, then cut into small pieces. Dice the bacon.
2. Place the vegetables, lentils, bacon, broth, garlic, thyme and bay leaf in the bowl fitted with the ultrablade knife. Season with salt. Launch the P1 soup program.
3. At the end of the program, remove bay leaf, add whipping cream and mix at speed 12 for 30 seconds.
