  • 2 eggs
  • 100ml cream
  • 100ml milk
  • 1 tbsp Caster sugar
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground cardamom
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Dollop cream, to serve
  • 3 Hot Cross Buns

1. Put the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, cinnamon and cardamom in the i-Companion XL bowl with the whisk attachment fitted. Set to mix at speed 6 for 30 seconds. Pour the liquid into a tray. 2. Cut the hot cross bun into quarters and soak them in the egg mixture for 1 minute. 3. Heat a pan on medium-high heat, melt the butter and fry the soaked hot cross buns for 45 seconds on each side. 4. Serve while warm with cream.
