Ingredients
- 1 blind-baked pizza dough
- 50 g extra-fine semolina or spolvero (for dusting)
- 100 g hazelnut spread
- 100 g banana (1.5 pieces)
- 10 g crushed praline
- 1 pinch of icing sugar
Method
- Make the blind-baked pizza dough recipe.
- Using a spatula, work the spread until soft. If your spread is difficult to spread on the pizza, you can warm it in a bain-marie or microwave to make it runnier. Peel and slice the bananas.
- Place the blind-baked dough on a serving plate. Spoon the hazelnut spread into the centre of the pizza (around 100 g per pizza). Cover the entire pizza with the spread. Place the banana slices on top, add the crushed praline and sprinkle with icing sugar.
- To make sure the dusting is even and uniform, place the icing sugar in a tea ball infuser or small sieve, then gently pat to sprinkle the sugar over the pizza. Slice, serve and enjoy!
Tips:
- Crushed praline is a mixture of caramelised almonds and hazelnuts. You'll find them in the pastry section of large supermarkets, in specialist pastry shops or online. You can substitute it with crushed hazelnuts.
- If you have an infrared thermometer, measure the cooking temperature on the rotating stone: 380-430°C.
