Breakfast Oat Cake

Breakfast Oat Cake

  • 1 ½ cups Oats
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup


  • In a large bowl, combine the oats, sugar, 1/2 cup of milk, melted butter, egg, salt, and vanilla extract together
  • Pour the mixture into a greased cake pan
  • Bake in the air fryer for 30 minutes at 150 ̊C
  • When the cake is almost ready, heat the 3/4 cup of milk and syrup in a pan
  • When the cake is done, remove it from the air fryer and pour the milk over the cake while it is still in the cake pan.
  • Serve immediately

Tip: This is a high energy breakfast, best served before a big day like sports or a day of hiking.
