Ingredients

  • 200 ml whole milk
  • 200 ml liquid cream (30% fat)
  • 60 g sugar
  • 8 g cornflour
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla powder
  • 4 tbsp liquid caramel
  • 2 tbsp unsalted crushed peanuts

Method

  1. Mix the milk, liquid cream, sugar, and cornflour in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly.
  3. Off the heat, add the vanilla. Mix and leave to cool until warm.
  4. Pour the mixture into the Tefal Dolci bowl.
  5. Put on the lid and place the bowl in the freezer for 24 h.
  6. Remove the bowl from the freezer and take off the lid.
  7. Insert the small bowl into the outer jar.
  8. Start the 'Gelato' program.
  9. Scoop the gelato into a small cup, then finish with the liquid caramel and crushed peanuts.
  10. Serve immediately.

Tips: For an ultra-indulgent caramel sundae, add a dollop of whipped cream and a few chunks of brownie.
