Ingredients

  • 200 ml whole milk
  • 200 ml liquid cream (30% fat)
  • 50 g sugar
  • 8 g cornstarch
  • 2 tsp ground coffee

Method

  1. Mix the milk, liquid cream, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens slightly.
  3. Remove from heat, add the ground coffee. Mix and leave to cool until warm.
  4. Pour the mixture into the Tefal Dolci bowl.
  5. Put the lid on and place the bowl in the freezer for 24 h.
  6. Take the bowl out of the freezer and remove the lid.
  7. Insert the small bowl into the outer jar.
  8. Start the 'Gelato' program.
  9. Enjoy immediately.

Tips: If you don't want small grains in your gelato, filter it through a fine sieve. If you are using instant coffee, adjust the quantity to suit your taste.
