Ingredients

  • 200 ml whole milk
  • 200 ml liquid cream (30% fat)
  • 70 g sugar
  • 8 g cornstarch

Method

  1. Mix the milk, liquid cream, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly. Leave to cool until warm.
  3. Pour the mixture into the Tefal Dolci bowl.
  4. Put on the lid and place the bowl in the freezer for 24 h.
  5. Remove the bowl from the freezer and take off the lid.
  6. Insert the small bowl into the outer jar.
  7. Start the 'Gelato' program.
  8. Enjoy immediately.

Tips: You can flavour your gelato with aromatic herbs or mild spices infused in the milk and cream mixture.
