Ingredients
- 4 fillets of white fish
- 120g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 200ml beer or sparking water
- Oil spray or olive oil
- 800g frozen chips
- Salt and pepper
- Lemon wedges
- Tartar sauce
Method
- Prepare the batter by mixing the flour, baking powder, paprika, salt and pepper in a recipient. Gradually add the beer or sparkling water, mixing until you have a smooth batter.
- Dip the fish fillets in the batter, making sure they are well coated.
- Place the fillets in the appliance. Start cooking using the nuggets program for 12min at 200 degrees.
- Turn them over halfway through cooking so that the fish is evenly browned and crispy. Open the handle with both hands and remove the fish from the appliance.
- Place the chips in the appliance. Start cooking using the fries program for 30min at 180 degrees.
Shake halfway through cooking to ensure even browning. - Open the handle with both hands. Pour the chips into a bowl and season.
- Place the fillets in the appliance. Start cooking using the nuggets program for 3min at 200 degrees to reheat them.
- Serve the fish fillets immediately with the crispy chips, lemon wedges and tartar sauce or mayonnaise.
