Ingredients

  • 25 g sugar
  • 225 g water
  • 15 g syrup of your choice (grenadine, strawberry, mint, peach, etc.)

Method

  1. Mix the sugar and water in a saucepan, then bring to a boil. Leave to cool.
  2. Pour the mixture into the Tefal Dolci bowl.
  3. Put the lid on and place the bowl in the freezer for 24 h.
  4. Take the bowl out of the freezer and remove the lid.
  5. Insert the small bowl into the outer jar.
  6. Start the 'Slushy' program.
  7. Serve immediately.

Tips: Kakigori is a Japanese speciality made from crushed ice, often topped with sweet syrup or fresh fruit. It's a delicious alternative to traditional frozen desserts, very popular during the hot summer months in Japan. For an authentic touch, drizzle condensed milk on top of your Kakigori before enjoying for an even more indulgent flavour. You can also replace the syrup with fruit coulis.
