Lamb Meatballs

Lamb Meatballs | Tefal Recipe

Tender lamb meatballs simmered in rich passata with herbs, honey and feta. Comforting, fragrant and perfect tossed with your favourite pasta.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Crushed Garlic
  • 1 kg Lamb Mince
  • 2 tbsp chopped Mint
  • 1 tbsp chopped Rosemary
  • 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 200g crumbled Feta
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Cup Beef stock
  • 3 Cups Passata
  • 1 pinch Dried oregano
  • 1 packet of Pasta

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix the lamb, garlic, herbs, mustard, honey and feta cheese. Roll mince into meatballs.
  2. In a large saute pan, heat olive oil. Fry meatballs in batches until brown on all sides.
  3. Add stock, passata and oregano and bring to boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. While the sauce is simmering, boil the pasta of your choice.
  6. When al dente (firm), serve and top with meatballs and sauce.
