One Pot Chinese Fried Rice | Tefal Recipe

Crispy lup chong, garlic, and veggies cooked with fluffy rice in a rich soy blend. Easy, comforting and full of bold, savoury flavour.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 150g Lup Chong
  • (or bacon), cubed
  • 1 knob of ginger, grated
  • 2 medium garlic cloves, grated
  • 3 cups Jasmine rice, rinsed well until the water runs clear
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 2 cups frozen vegetables
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced thinly to garnish
  • Chilli crisp, to garnish (optional)

Method

  1. Add vegetable oil, Lup Chong/bacon pieces, ginger and garlic to the bowl of your Tefal Rice Master & Slow Cooker RK818. Close the lid and select “Soup”, then press “Start” button to start cooking (this will initiate the browning function). The rice cooker will take about 5-6 minutes to heat up the bowl and lightly brown the ingredients.
  2. When this is complete, add the rice and chicken stock up until the 3 cup White Rice indicator line. Add the vegetables and give it all a good stir.
  3. In a small bowl combine dark soy sauce, tamari, sesame oil, sugar and white pepper. Pour this mixture over the rice and vegetables. Combine all ingredients and close the lid.
  4. Press “Cancel” to stop the “Soup” Program. Now select “White Rice” button and then press “Start” button to start the cooking. It will enter keep warm automatically after cooking.
  5. Once cooking is complete, use the rice spoon to give it all a gentle mix. Serve rice in bowls, garnished with finely chopped green onions and chilli crisp.
