Pistachio Gelato | Tefal Dolci Recipe

Ingredients

  • 150 ml whole milk
  • 150 ml liquid cream (30% fat)
  • 6 g corn starch
  • 100 g sweetened
  • pistachio cream

Method

  1. Mix the milk, liquid cream, and corn starch in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly.
  3. Remove from heat, add the sweetened pistachio cream. Mix well and leave to cool until warm.
  4. Pour the mixture into the Tefal Dolci bowl. Put the lid on and place the bowl in the freezer for 24 h.
  5. Take the bowl out of the freezer and remove the lid.
  6. Insert the small bowl into the outer jar.
  7. Start the 'Gelato' program.
  8. Serve immediately.

Tips: Make sure to use pistachio cream rather than pistachio paste, as the cream gives a smoother texture and already contains sugar. Pistachio creams may vary in sweetness. Adjust the quantity according to your taste.
