Stracciatella Gelato | Tefal Dolci Recipe

Ingredients

  • 200 ml whole milk
  • 200 ml liquid cream, (30% fat)
  • 60 g sugar
  • 8 g cornstarch
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla powder
  • 30 g plain chocolate slivers

Method

  1. Mix the milk, liquid cream, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly.
  2. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla.
  3. Mix well. Leave to cool until warm.
  4. Pour the mixture into the Tefal Dolci bowl.
  5. Put the lid on and place the bowl in the freezer for 24 h.
  6. Take the bowl out of the freezer and remove the lid.
  7. Insert the small bowl into the outer jar.
  8. Start the 'Gelato' program.
  9. Remove the bowl from the appliance. Make a hole approximately 4 cm wide and 8 cm deep in the ice and add the plain chocolate slivers.
  10. Start the program.
  11. Serve immediately.

Tips: If you can't find chocolate slivers, you can make your own by grating a chocolate bar using a vegetable peeler. Try orange-flavoured, mint-flavored or even caramel-flavoured chocolate slivers for a unique touch.
