Vanilla Gelato | Tefal Dolci Recipe

Ingredients

  • 200 ml whole milk
  • 200 ml liquid cream (30% fat)
  • 60 g sugar
  • 8 g corn starch
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla powder

Method

  1. Mix the milk, liquid cream, sugar, and corn starch in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly.
  3. Remove from heat and add the vanilla. Leave to cool until warm.
  4. Pour the mixture into the Tefal Dolci bowl.
  5. Cover and place the bowl in the freezer for 24 h.
  6. Remove the bowl from the freezer and take off the cover.
  7. Insert the small bowl into the outer jar.
  8. Start the 'Gelato' program.
  9. Enjoy immediately.

Tips: If using fresh vanilla, infuse half a split and scraped vanilla pod in the hot milk and cream for 15 min.
