  • 225 g rice
  • 150 g red lentils
  • 9 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 1.5 peeled and chopped onions
  • 3 garlic clove, peeled and chopped
  • 1.5 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1.5 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1.5 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1.5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1000 ml vegetable stock



Prepare the ingredients.

Peel and chop the onion.

Pour the oil into the cooking pan and mix together.

Brown the onion, garlic, carrots, mustard seeds, turmeric and ginger for 5 minutes.

Add the rice and lentils. Pour in the stock.

Pressure cooking: 10 minutes

Mix well and serve immediately.

Tip: Can be served with some coriander and to replace olive oil with coconut oil.
