Ingredients

  • 750 g minced beef
  • ¾ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 finely diced onion
  • 1 lightly whisked egg
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • 2 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 150g grated cheddar cheese
  • 4 burger buns

Preparation

Mix the beef, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce together in a large bowl

Season with salt and pepper

Divide into 8 portions, roll into 8 balls and flatten into patties

Lay 1 patty down, top with the smoked cheddar and top with another patty

Squeeze the edges to close the burgers encasing the cheese

Place patties in the fridge for 30 minutes, allowing them to bind together

In your air fryer, preheat the Grill for 15 minutes at 200 ̊C

Once grill is preheated, place patties on the grill and air fry at 200 ̊C for 10 minutes, flipping once half-way through

Serve on a burger bun with lettuce, sliced tomato and a good burger sauce
