Ingredients

  • 6 large marmande tomatoes washed
  • 6 seitan steaks (100/125 g) (from organic shop)
  • 6 slices of emmental
  • 120 g of large sweet and sour pickles sliced
  • 150 g of white onion, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 6 tsp of Ketchup (or mustard or burger sauce)
  • 3 tsp of olive oil
  • Salt, pepper

Preparation

Prepare the ingredients.

Chop the tomatoes in half, to use as burger buns. Pour the oil into the pan.

Fry the onions in the oil until softened. Assemble the burgers: tomato base, sauce, onion, pickle, steak, cheese, tomato top.

Put the tomato-burgers in the pan. (if 6, place 4 at the bottom, 2 on top and their tops to the side). Add 100 ml water.

Cooking time: 6 minutes

Carefully take the burgers out. Serve.
