Preparation

This recipe is created by Tefal brand ambassador, Lorena Lys.

1. Pre-heat oven to 200C. Oil a rectangle cookie/pizza tin with olive oil and set aside. 2. Insert the Kneading and Crushing blade in your i-Companion bowl. Put the yeast in water in the bowl and set Speed 4, Temperature 40 degrees and Time 2 ½ minutes. This will activate the yeast. 3. Once finished, add the flour, olive oil and salt. Select P1 Pastry program. The i-Companion will knead the dough and it should come together in a ball at the end of the program. At this point, very carefully remove the blade (the dough can be sticky around the blade so use caution!). Place dough back into bowl and continue with the Pastry program. It will prove dough for 40 minutes and when program is complete, it is ready to roll out on a floured bench top in a rectangular shape. Place dough onto your rectangular baking tray. 4. For the pizza sauce, whisk together in a bowl the tomato paste, the passata, olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, oregano, and garlic until well combined. Spoon pizza sauce over the dough. 5. Now sprinkle on the cheese and your toppings (mushrooms, ham, black olives and artichokes). 6. Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes at 200C or until golden. Garnish with fresh basil. Cut into squares and serve to your family and friends on State of Origin night!
