  • 600 mL whole milk
  • 80 g white sugar
  • 1 vanilla pods
  • 120 g round rice
  • 80 g mascarpone cheese


In a saucepan, heat the milk, sugar and vanilla pods split lengthwise and scraped over low heat. Cook for 5 min while stirring constantly until the sugar is fully absorbed and he vanilla releases its flavour. Add the mascarpone, mix and leave to cool.

Place 20 g of round rice in each pot and then spread the vanilla flavoured milk up to 1 cm from the rim.

Fill the base of the appliance with water up to the max level. Cook for 45 in dairy dessert mode. Mix each pot so that the rice fully absorbs the liquid.

Leave to cool in the machine so that the rice continues to soak up the vanilla flavoured milk, and refrigerate.
